Hunting detects and points toward the strongest source of electromagnetic activity in its surroundings. It consists of a central rotating pointer and eight surrounding probes, each built with simple, low-tech antenna designs. These probes capture electromagnetic signals—carriers of communication networks, energy systems, and countless unseen infrastructures—and transmit the information to a central control unit.

Rather than providing precise measurement or scientific visualization, the device embraces a mode of perception that is vague, delayed, and sometimes disordered. It moves clumsily, hesitantly, and irregularly, attempting to find order within interference and noise. In doing so, it echoes the pervasive yet often unnoticed presence of electromagnetic fields that shape the conditions of contemporary life.

The act of pointing is an open-ended gesture for imagination, encouraging the audience to hunt the invisible layers of infrastructure embedded within the natural environment. It asks us to reconsider the spaces we inhabit as complex, dynamic fields, where technological systems have become a new layer of nature.
